The Sinatra–Jobim Sessions recreate Frank Sinatra’s collaboration with Antônio Carlos Jobim in the late 1960s.
A departure from Sinatra’s ballad and Swing repetoire, this shows the genius of Jobim’s writing as well as the genius of
Claus Orgerman and Eumir Deodato’s beautiful arrangements for orchestra and rhythm section.
The Franks’ Place Bossas sessions have been transcribed and arranged for string quartet (along with flute, alto flute, trombone and rhythm section) and is a beautiful departure from the usual Frank Sinatra repertoire.
